New Year's Eve Rock with Elvis in Helidon

Celebrate New Year's Eve in style at the Helidon Community Centre. For $50 per person, you will receive supper and a fantastic array of live entertainment with tribute artists performing Elvis, Dusty Springfield and Nancy Sinatra. For those who don't want to drive, you can return bus fair for just $5. Prizes for the best Elvis and Priscilla costumes on the night!

Kalbar Carols - December 20.

Come along to the Kalbar Community Christmas Carols on Sunday December 20.

The local Lions Club and Scenic Rim Regional Council is providing a FREE Sausage sizzle, cheerio’s, fairy floss and snow cones from 6pm with the carols getting underway at 7pm. The evening is being held in the car park of the Salvation Army on 66 George St, Kalbar.

Christmas in the Carpark - Dec 13

Whitehill Church of Christ invite you to join them on December 13 from 5pm for a family fun evening with a sausage sizzle, lots of great entertainment including clowns, carnival area, jazz band, carol singing, performance by Whitehill Drama Group. Food and drink available.

The loss of playtime in children’s early years is contributing to an epidemic of teenage depression and mental illness in Australia, according to leading adolescent psychologist, Dr Michael Carr-Gregg.
